• "The law regarding the protection of personal information in public institutions" presents the general rules about the handling of personal information. Please note that the Shim & Lim's Won Children's Library (SLWCL) is not a public institution but a private organization. Nevertheless we will do our best to treat those personal information that we collect and handle in accordance with the law and properly to perform public affairs and protect peoples' rights. We respect your rights and interests with regard to the personal information.


• All personal information that the SLWCL site (http://www.shimlimlibrary.org) handles shall be collected and managed with the person's approval or in accordance with the related regulations.
• The site uses browser detection to determine the browser type and browser version of site visitors.
• The pages accessed by each visitor are recorded in an aggregate form in order to provide us with information about the usage of the pages.
• Email messages sent to the email contacts for our site and those copies of replies may be preserved and reviewed by us, in order to help ensure the quality of information of our site.
• The login information of a Library Member can be preserved in more detail. Once a valid member logged in, such actions and accompaning contents taken by the member are logged and can be accessible by the site administrator. The information contained in the site are archived once a month, and so is the login and action information taken by the memebr, as a part of the archived information.
