07-27-2011, Announcement- : We are sorry to announce that the library will be closed for about one year until next year. The whole Shim family will stay in the States for the period. We are looking forward to seeing you next year with a lot of new books. Thanks everyone-.

04-17-2011, New book arrivals : Doctor De Soto by William Steig, 1983 Newbery Honor. This version is a Book & CD, narrated by Stanley Tucci, the Golden Globe recipient actor.
04-02-2011, New book arrivals : Dragon's Gate by Laurence Yep (1994 Newbery Honor), Elijah of Buxton by Christopher Paul Curtis (2008 Newbery Honor), and Long Way from Chicago by Richard Peck (1999 Newbery Honor).

The Video Schedule of This Month

Disclaimer: Note that any video showing, expecially tagged with HR, can not accommodate too many people, which might exceed the number for an ordinary home video watch. Please let us know in advance if you want to join our kids to watch it together. Unless notified otherwise, each video watching starts when the library hours begins.
In addition, all videotapes tagged with HR are home-recorded and therefore striclty limited to home replay only. They shall not be lended out of our home, i.e., the library.
